Minister Diab to participate in a special citizenship ceremony for Citizenship Week

The Honourable Lena Metlege Diab, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, will welcome 30 of Canada’s newest citizens from 18 different countries at a special ceremony to mark Citizenship Week. Citizenship Judge Joan Mahoney will preside over the ceremony. Citizenship Week, taking place from April 12 to 18, is an opportunity to celebrate the rights and responsibilities shared by all Canadian citizens. During Citizenship Week, Canadians across the country and around the world show their pride in their history, culture, achievements and shared citizenship.
